I’m all right. Currently working towards making it “uber great” and stuff. lol

Where do you usually get your clothes?

Topman. But I haven’t bought myself any new clothes for a while now. The last item I got was a Christmas gift from my Mom - a short khaki trench coat from there.

Do you know of a place to buy a cheap unlined blazer here in Mega Manila?

Define “cheap”. And what’s your size? If you’re small, you won’t find it. Most of the ukay ukay or even local fashion stores (eg. those in Galleria 50th ave., or that side section in Power Plant that’s not Archaeology, or Greenhills Theater Mall) sell overruns or large sizes.

It’s most likely cheap (around P1k?) because no one is buying it.

What’s a common misconception people have about you?

That I’m a snob or an ass. For lazy people, it’s the easiest adjective to attach to me after observing the following things about me:

1. I don’t talk unless necessary (or unless I want to)
2. If I do talk, it’s because it’s important
3. I’m not afraid to go against the masses if I know I’m right and they’re wrong

In summary: I really don’t care what they think.

Where can you buy a real tie-by-yourself bow tie locally?

Sorry, no idea. Bow ties aren’t my thing. :P

What’s your favorite word?

This is a question I never considered before. Having done my fair share of writing in the past, I can’t say that I like any word in particular.

Thinking about it now, maybe it’s “The”. It’s usually the word before something important or definitive.

If you were to make your own collection, what would the pieces be and why? :)

It’s not just about the pieces, but on the actual style of the pieces. It’s hard to elaborate. I can say, “long-sleeved polo shirt” and it could look a hundred different ways.

But as for designs, I want things to be different than the usual, but things I’d still wear.

You’re into tailoring. Any thoughts on going into cobbling?

Yeah, I want to make shoes, too. But then it might not be a good idea for me right now (I don’t want to try too many things; I want to get experience with one thing first). I might just hire someone for this purpose eventually.

Mark: I’m still working out the best pattern for suits though, so it might not be any time soon. I haven’t resumed my experiments on suit jackets since the last one I made.

On cobbling: I think the design process is similar to making clothes or bags, so it shouldn’t be too much of a stretch to try and make shoes. Constructing them properly is another matter, though. XD
